SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER – full time

As a team of experts working in the business for many years, we are busy building advanced solutions for a more sustainable world. We work with both B2C and B2B customers to cut CO2 emissions, and enable smooth integration of innovative technologies like energy storage and electric vehicles in existing properties.

i.LECO was founded in Q1-2019, with the goal to enable and speed up the needed green energy transition by means of innovative software and with a final focus on the future expected network structure of “local energy communities”.

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer, focussed for the Polish team, but also possible for our Belgian team.

Job description
As a Developer, you will be responsible for working together with a bigger team on our energy IoT platform, which is a foundation for our innovative smart grid services. You should be able to understand the details on both the frontend & backend, but your design, and development focus will be mainly in the backend. You will work together with all stakeholders including other engineers, scientists, blockchain architects & other frontend & backend software developers. For your work focus, you will be seamlessly and virtually involved with our Polish-Belgian software team.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of core services in our micro-service architecture
  • Supporting & mentoring seniority-younger colleagues
  • Software deployments, based on Azure DevOps pipeline
  • Improvement of software deployments, the goal is to have continuous deployments 
  • Integration, Unit & E2E tests implementation
  • Leading in the introduction of good programming practices and following standards
  • Improvement of continuous integration e.g. by adding static code analysis, review rules

Requirements:

  • Senior full-stack developer in .NET, focus on backend
  • Experience in Azure DevOps
  • Experience in test automation
  • Nice to have experience in Python
  • Affinity to smart energy world & innovation for energy transition
  • A technical spirit with a passion for development, self education
  • Able to work independently and autonomously
  • Flexibility / adaptability
  • You are an effective communicator and have a command of English & PL (nice to have NL, RU,UA)

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER – full time

We are looking for a Regular Software Developer, focussed for the Polish team, but also possible for our Belgian team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in test automation (Unit testing)
  • Nice to have experience in Azure DevOps

Job description

As an Architect, you will work together with a bigger team on our energy IoT platform, which is a foundation for our innovative smart grid services. You should take ownership of the architecture of all overall systems, keeping it consistent, good quality and efficient. You will work together with all stakeholders including other engineers, scientists, blockchain architects & other frontend & backend software developers consulting the architecture and technologies used in sub-systems. For your work focus, you will be seamlessly and virtually involved with our Polish, Belgian & Russian software team.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-creating and leading in common vision around software architecture across company projects
  • Ensuring the development team has a coherent architectural vision.
  • Managing system diagrams.
  • Accountability for ensuring code standards and high-level architecture decisions between teams
  • Co-creating and implementing and executing coding standards
  • Supporting & mentoring seniority-younger colleagues
  • Affinity towards optimization and clean code
  • Participating in design of new products on early steps, setting up requirements and limitations of the solutions (from point of view of integration with existing already created products)
  • Managing/reducing ecosystem technical debt

Requirements:

  • Senior full-stack developer in .NET, focus on backend
  • 7+ years of experience, working with different projects and architectures
  • Experience in designing software solutions with concrete examples
  • Nice to have an experience in maintaining high-load real-time data processing application
  • High intrinsic motivation for self-learning, up to date with current technologies and design patterns
  • Very good knowledge of software delivery lifecycle
  • Experience in implementation of good practices CD/CI/TDD
  • Experience in Azure DevOps, Devops culture
  • Very good communication in ENG (nice to have PL. NL, RU, UA).
  • Teaching experience is preferable.
  • Nice to have experience in microservice architecture
  • Broad practical knowledge in different technical solutions
